My Story

Victoria Nolan is a dynamic and passionate educator with over two decades of experience in teaching and tutoring. Since 2002, she has taught in schools across the UK and Canada, specializing in Business Studies, primary school education, and nursery school education. Her diverse teaching background allows her to connect with students of all ages and backgrounds, fostering an environment where curiosity turns into confidence and mastery.

Victoria’s journey into education began early, influenced by her parents’ entrepreneurial spirit. Growing up surrounded by the excitement and challenges of running a family business, she developed a deep understanding of business dynamics. This early exposure ignited her passion for teaching business concepts to others.

Her formal qualifications are extensive. She initially qualified as a Business Studies teacher and later expanded her expertise by qualifying as a Nursery and Primary School Teacher. Throughout her career, Victoria has taught a wide range of subjects to students from early childhood through adulthood. She has also marked for the Scottish Qualifications Authority in Business Management and Economics at N5 and Higher levels, equivalent to GCSE/Year 10 and A-Level/Year 11 in North America.

Victoria’s experience extends beyond the traditional classroom. She has successfully tutored both online and in-person, working with primary, high school, and homeschool students. This flexibility has allowed her to tailor her teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

As a single parent to three wonderful children, ranging from primary to high school, Victoria understands the importance of balancing education with everyday life. Her personal experiences have deepened her empathy and commitment to helping students succeed, no matter their circumstances.

Outside of teaching, Victoria enjoys a variety of hobbies that enrich her life and keep her energized. She loves dancing, skiing, attending concerts, and traveling. These activities provide her with a well-rounded perspective and a zest for life that she brings into her teaching.
